Facial Nerve Trauma Before and After Case 17

Smile restoration with direct repair of facial muscles performed by Dr. Shai Rozen in Dallas, Texas to restore the smile, and facial symmetry. Patient presented 1 month after being injured by heavy machinery resulting in several deep cuts into his right face. This resulted in right sided facial paralysis with inability to smile, difficulty in speech, eating, and drinking. After waiting for 8 months to assess improvement, the patient was taken to surgery. 1 year later patient has an improved smile and reports improved speech and eating.
